HULURUK MYEON HOUSE

Hi guys, I know it's been a very long time since I last posted something. That's why I decided to make this blog alive again. HAHAHAHAHA!

So recently, my boyfriend and I went to this restaurant that sells Korean food. The restaurant name is as above 'HULURUK Myeon House'. Why did we decide to give this restaurant a try? Well, it was newly opened and I've tried a restaurant that sells Korean food near my workplace and I feel that the price of the food over at that restaurant is pricey but the food was not too bad. So since this restaurant took over Seoul Yummy place, I decided to give it a try.

There was a long queue during dinner time. We went there to have dinner. Didn't really expect to have a long queue for it. But it was quite fast, as we are only 2 person. So if you are with your family, it will take some time because as a family, you'll end up ordering quite few items.

Well, my boyfriend decided to try the Vocalno Beef rice with cheese and he said that it's not that bad. As for me, I had Jjam Ppong. Erm, it's not very spicy and it was okay la. As for noodles, you get to choose whether you want Kalgukusu (knife noodle) or Sujebi (flat noodle), so I got the Kalgukusu for my noodle but I feel like it's nothing like Kalgukusu. It's like normal noodle. I'm not sure about the flat noodle but you can give it a try. Oh, for jjam ppong, it's only available at Junction 8 outlet. I wanted to try their pancake as well but I didn;t order it because I'm scared that we can't finish and we aren't sure how big is their serving. But when our food came, all I can say for noodle dish, their bowl is really big and the serving was quite okay, I manage to finish it.

This is the Volcano Beef Rice that my boyfriend ordered. I had a taste of it and I feel like it's normal. HAHAHAHAHA.

Oh and when we're eating there's like 2 families on both sides, our left & right. So the family that was on our right, was telling the staff that there's a little cockroach on the wall and the staff responded to it quite quickly and I think the manager did tell them that they do cleanup frequently but I think the dad wasn't really happy with it. When they finish their food, they wanted to cancel the dessert order if they have not started preparing it but too bad, the kitchen crew already started preparing and their excuses were they are too full already. In my mind, I was like 'then you shouldn't have over ordered.' To be honest, they shared something as a family. Something like army stew. To me, I feel like this family is problematic.

The other family that was also problematic was the one on the left. Again, the father was fussy. So they ordered a side dish that is chicken. So the father and the mother tried it and I think the mother told the father that the chicken is cold or something like that so the father gave it a try then the father feedback to the stuff/manager. So they decided to change a new plate for them. So they did, they gave them a new plate and the father said 'they just microwaved it. Taste the same.' And I was like 'are you sure they just microwaved it? So what if they microwaved it?' These 2 families really ruin my mood and appetite as well.

If you don't have the proof that they microwaved it, just keep your mouth shut. Don't act like you know it all. People are just doing business and the staffs are just doing their job. If you don't like it, then don't order the next time.

But I gotta say, their drinks are really not bad. I had the Oreo Frappe and it was really nice. Well, obviously, this drink can't go wrong right? If it doesn't taste nice, I don't know what to say. Hahahaha. So my boyfriend had Mango Yogurt Ice Blended and he said that it's nice.

They even have desserts. Well, I feel like most Korean restaurants they either sell food or desserts, they don't merge 2 things together but well, I guess for this company they decided to merge these 2 together. I didn't give their bingsu a try as I'm scared I can't finish. So yeah, maybe next time can give it a try. They only have 3 outlets for now. The one I went to was the Junction 8 outlet. It's not that big. I wouldn't say that it's that clean as well, cauz I saw a little cockroach crawling on the floor to the table that the family was sitting on the right. HAHAHAHAHA. But it doesn't affect me la.

The food was okay. Wouldn't say that it was very nice neither very bad. Quite acceptable.
