Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021

Hi, I’m back with the last post for 2020. I know I‘ve not been very active on this space so is my other social media accounts. I hardly update on any of my social media accounts for the year 2020.

Well, 2020 has not been a very pleasant year but I wouldn’t say that it’s very bad. It’s just that there were like about 2 and a half months wasted due to lock down but it was a good way to deal with the pandemic that the whole world is going through. During the lockdown period, my company started the ‘Work From Home’ but I wouldn’t say that the company was prepared to start the ’Work From Home’ routine as I felt like they actually rush out the system which wasn’t well done but to keep the company going & earning money, they have to do it. I feel like they could have done it better. They could’ve invented the system way before this pandemic happens. It’s like they don’t have any contingency plans so when this happened, they rush out everything and the employees have to deal with the rest. It’s like they don’t even protect their own employees and just push their employees to death which I don’t think it’s a good thing (obviously). Working from home means having to deal with last minute work, well I don’t mind but not on public holiday. I have to rush things out by the next day which I find it very unfair. But well, I gotta deal with it. Just suck it up and do my work.

Oh and the 4 days enforced leave was something I find it redundant. We are already working from home so even when we are on leave, we will still be working which is damn wasted. It’s not even efficient but it’s not like I can say ‘I wanna keep my leave.’ It’s ENFORCED. So yeah, gotta deal with it. But other than work stuffs that I’m very unhappy about, there’s nothing more than that. Most of the things I’m unhappy about it’s actually work. 1 of my colleagues makes me very unhappy. It’s like because of him, there’s no teamwork at the workplace. It’s because of him, my other colleague and I gotta do double job. My boss can’t even do her own things because of him which is very inefficient.

This year is really a tough year but I’m so glad that it’s already ending. I’m so glad that Singapore manage to pull through such a difficult times. Kudos to the healthcare industries peeps & of cause PM Lee and his team who worked hard to actually keep the cases under control. To those who just know how to complaint, take a look at the mirror. Are you even helping the people or are u just being another burden to the country? Stop complaining about small things. People who are badly affected, they don’t even complaint. They just look for things to do to become better. Learn from them. You should be grateful that you are still earning an income, you still get to go to work and eat out even though your break time is short and the queues for food are long but seriously, those problems are not even BIG enough for you to call the government to take a look. It’s your company problem. You want a longer break time then just feedback to your company’s boss la. It’s not the government who set your break time what. Complaint to the government for what?!

I’m grateful for what PM Lee and his teams have done for us but at the same time, I‘m ashamed of being a Singaporean due to people just know how to COMPLAINT & COMPLAINT & COMPLAINT non-stop. They don’t know how to spread love & be considerate. All they know is just to think about themselves. But whatever 🤷‍♀️ don’t wanna be bother about them. They just sucks big time.

Even though I may be complaining about my work, I’m still grateful that I‘m still earning an income and providing for myself as well as for my pets. For this, I‘m really grateful. I’m grateful that the lock down period is not extended and at least I can go to my relative’s place and help them whenever they look for me. At least the people around me are healthy & safe, that’s very important to me.

Just hope that 2021 will be better. Hoping that I can travel again though I think likely not. But whatever it is, I’m ready to face 2021 heads on already since 2020 is pretty much ruined. But that means I’m strong enough for 2021‘s bullshit. I believe I will pull through it.
