It’s been quite some time since I last update this space of mine.
Time passes so fast! We are already in the month of August! It’ll be Singapore’s 56th Birthday soon. Well, this year’s National Day Parade is postponed due to Covid-19 situation and the cases are on the rise. People wants it to be cancelled but to be honest, it will NOT be cancelled. Why? Because it’s a tradition already. But postponing it, it’s a better choice. I mean given the costs that the government has thrown in for the parade. Do you seriously think it’s a wise decision to cancel? Given all the preparation that has been put in for this NDP to happened, do you really think it’s fair to cancel it just like that? I mean yeah, I understand the Covid-19 situation doesn’t seems to get better ever since the KTV cluster happen. But to be honest, when the parade is happening, you could’ve chose to stay home & watch it instead of crowding the area.
But then most Singaporeans obviously will rush out & crowd at one area to watch the NDP and then it will create a cluster. When that happens, are you gonna blame the government? I’m pretty sure some or most will. Actually, it’s not the government’s fault, it’s the human beings fault. You have a choice. You could’ve just simply stay home, order food delivery or cook, while waiting or watching the NDP happen. Everybody have a choice to make. So it’s not the blame doesn’t lies on the government. To be honest, government have it more difficult than us. They’re not having enough rest and are doing their best to update as much as possible. So stop blaming them. If you think being a minister and being in the taskforce is easy, why not you go and try to be in their position instead of blaming them, ranting on every social media?
I know this Covid-19 situation has disrupted all our lives, our jobs and we can’t travel overseas. But we aren’t the only ones that are affected. The whole world are affected as well. Just hope that it’ll get better. Just hope this will end soon. Stop blaming the government for opening the border, they have to open the border so that income will flow if not, Singapore will go bankrupt as well. It’s not easy for the government to make this decision but they need to do what they have to do, to keep the economy going.
Just pray that it doesn’t go into Circuit Breaker again because that means you can’t even get out of your house except for doing groceries & probably order takeaway. If you want to exercise, you can do workouts at home, instead of doing exercises outside. When you protect yourself, you’re also protecting your loved ones who are living in the same house as you. Especially now the variant are much more stronger than last year, it’s really good to step up your protection. It’s better if you’re vaccinated. If you’re fully vaccinated, GOOD. If you’re not, as long as you have the 1st jab, your 2nd jab will come soon.
Let’s hope this situation will stabilise soon. Hopefully the cases will drop instead of increase. Let’s stay home & stay safe. If you’re gonna go out, please wear your mask PROPERLY, make sure your family members who are going out also wears their mask PROPERLY. Since the mask is suppose to protect you, it’s not gonna protect you if you’re not gonna wear it properly. Wash your hands/ sanitise your hands as often as possible. If you’re sick, please go & see a doctor and do not go out. Stay home, eat your medication & get well before you go out again.
STAY HOME & STAY SAFE. Don’t blame the government for whatever that is happening. Remember, the choice is always yours to make. Don’t blame the government if you happened to caught the virus when you chose to go out, I’m pretty sure that’s not what the government wants either. This is a long ass battle, so do your part. Everyone has a part to play in keeping Singapore safe. Be responsible & be nice. Hopefully, the cases will not increase anymore. Hopefully, it’ll decrease soon.
Long weekend is coming, hope you guys enjoy your long weekend~
Byez~
