Insurance Agent/Financial Consultant

I’m finally back at posting. But this time round, I’m gonna talk about Insurance Agent/Financial Consultant. I’m just gonna share about 1 bad agent who have bad customer service, zero follow-up. Only wanted to do a review after I sent ‘feedback’ to the company through the app. It’s not my agent. She was my mom’s agent at first. So after my passed away, she becomes mine.

To sounds nice, we call them Financial Consultant but they are actually what the locals will call ‘Insurance Agent’ because they are the ones that is handling our insurance policies and making us buy more so that they can earn more. I wouldn’t stereotype all agents/consultants who actually approach you are wanting to earn your money, some of them are genuinely helping you and making sure you get protected with the correct policies and making sure that your needs are being met. Those kind of agent/consultant have really good customer service. While some others, they think they actually earn enough from you already, they decided to stop following up on you, they don’t even bother to message you to let you know that your premium is due, they let the company sent an automated message to inform you. Best is they don’t even bother to make an appointment with you to do a yearly review. They will only do it when you requested it from them. They don’t even sent u a greeting message during occasions like Chinese New Year, Mooncake Festival, your birthday. NOTHING AT ALL. This is what I called ‘bad/no customer service’. When you requested to do a review, they can actually ask you in the face ‘what do you want to know about the policy?’ like seriously? Are you the agent or am I the agent? Aren’t you suppose to come prepared? After the review, they can even tell you ‘after you finish paying all the current policies, you can think of investment policies. When that time comes, I can share more with you.’ Like seriously, are you kidding me? Do you think I wanna buy more policies from you? Given your service like that? Still can aim at my partner. Why would I let my partner buy from you?

Just because you approached my mother to buy policies and be there for her when she needed help, you think you did a good job? Now that I think back, I think you’re just being fake. You just want to earn my mother’s money. You told her that you will help her ‘take care‘ of us. HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF US? You took care of ME by SUCKING MY MOTHER’s MONEY from me, not just my mother’s money, MY MONEY also. Yet give such a poor service. The year after my mom passed away, you only gave us 1 bottle of pineapple tarts each then after that, NOTHING already. I asked to do a review on my birthday, you don’t even know it’s my birthday and YOU DARE TO COME UNPREPARED. Like wtf. I’ve been nice to you, not wanting to feedback to your company until recently. I really had enough of your service. So after receiving the feedback, now you wanna speak to me and do a review for one of the policies. You think I will make it easy for you? NO. I don’t even wanna speak to you, I don’t even wanna deal with you. Cauz I know if I speak to you, your review becomes aiming at me to buy more policies from you in future. Why should I? And after that pineapple tarts ‘gift’, all you did was to message me to make payment. Other than that, nothing else, which turn me very off. So every time I receive your message, I feel very URGH. That’s the reason why I don’t wanna reply you. Because all you did was ‘remind me to make payment’. There was no effort in asking how am I or whatever greetings. Even worst is that all your messages comes with ‘DEAR’ like who the fuck is your DEAR?! DEAR here, DEAR there, tryna act close to me?! Seriously, you think you who sia? I am DISGUSTED MUCH. You earned so much from my mom and me, yet your effort for the service is so little. It’s really very upsetting. Your follow-up also wasn’t done properly. I won’t be patronising you nor your company anymore. I will make sure people around me knows about you & fucking disgusting customer service. I will make sure nobody buy from you.

This agent that I’m talking about is from AXA Pte Ltd. She is an auntie. I’m not gonna say her name here. But her service was really bad. It was not that bad the year after my mom pass away, she still got meet me up for meals. During/After mealtimes, yes, you got it. She got me to purchase more policies. So I don’t wanna stay any longer, I agreed without knowing what I’m getting into. Cauz at that time, I still wasn’t interested in insurance. I wasn’t paying attention on what she was sharing with me. So I just agreed so that she will pester me NO MORE. And now, her service is like that, I REGRET BIG TIME. Bit nevermind, lesson learnt. Won’t buy anymore from her once I’m done paying all the policies under her.
