Netflix Series Vs Book: To All The Boys Series

Hi guys, I am back with another post. I know I haven’t been very active recently neither do I look like I’m really active on updating this space. I update when I feel like it or when I feel like saying something that’s been on the news but I feel like talking about the Netflix film that got me interested in the book version.

So I actually watched the Netflix film first before getting the books. Yes, the last series film was released recently this year but I’ve already got the full series in the book version. I didn’t really start reading it as I was actually looking up for the meaning of difficult words in the previous 2 books that I’ve already read. But after watching the 3rd film, I started going back to reading book and that’s how I started reading this series of book that was written by Jenny Han.

The book version is definitely better but then the reason why Netflix came out a movie series of this show is because of the book, so DUH, obviously it’s very good. The movie version is shorter but it’s still nice. The book version is like a more emphasised story on the 2 main leads and friends which I actually really enjoy reading it. After watching the movie series on Netflix, I felt like when I read the book, I can visualise some scenes that is part of the story that wasn’t in the movie series.

If you’re into romance, novel, you can give this series of books a try. You wouldn’t regret it. If you’ve watched the series on Netflix than all the more you should get the book because the story is LONGER than the movie series. It’s definitely worth your time, worth your money. There’s different covers to choose, so it’s up to you. The covers I got is the original one. The cover photo of the book above, is the Netflix series. I don‘t think it affects the content inside the book, it’s just the cover page. HAHAHAHA. I cannot remember how long I took to finish the series of books but I felt like I finish reading this series of books quite fast. Faster than other books that I’ve read or are reading it. HAHAHAHA.

If you want, you can watch the series on Netflix first before getting the books, just like me. I felt that if you read the books first, you might be a little bit disappointed because there are parts in the books that you wish will be shown on the movie series version but then it’s not. So yeah, to save you from the disappointment, I recommend you to watch the series first before getting the book. But then it’s up to you, if you wanna read the books first and then watch the movie series on Netflix, I ain’t judging. It‘s up to you, it’s your decision.

All in all, I just enjoy both versions. That’s all~
